Actual Multiple Monitors is a program to improve the efficiency and convenience of using multiple monitors. Standard functions such as button grouping, clock (with the ability to call the Calendar application) and additional toolbars (Quick Launch, etc.) are supported. Under Windows 7, the Pin to Taskbar (Pin) and Peek functions are available, as well as the Show Desktop button.
Opportunities:
- Adds an analog of the Taskbar to additional monitors for the usual application management, regardless of which monitor you are working with. Each Taskbar can display a Start button and a copy of the system notification area.
- Implemented support for preview thumbnails (window thumbnails) when hovering the mouse pointer over the application button in the Taskbar.
- Cloning to all monitors of the Task Switcher window, called by Alt-Tab.
- Move any window to the desired monitor with one click. You can also automatically place the required applications on the desired monitor when they are launched.
- The second additional button The additional Expand to Desktop button allows you to expand any window to the entire available screen area (a second click will restore the original window size), and when moving the window with the mouse over the title, you can enable both the Aero Snap function emulation mode from Windows 7 and the classic window sticking mode to the Desktop, monitors and other windows.
- Create and save various configurations as desktop profiles and instantly switch between them as needed.
- A service for saving/restoring the order of icons on the Desktop for different display configurations.
- It will help to improve the appearance of the Desktop: stretch one large background image over the entire screen space, or install an individual background image on each monitor. A similar feature is available for screen savers. Slideshow mode is also available for background images (the ability to specify a set of images and automatically change them at a specified interval).
