HostMonitor - network resource monitor. It is able to monitor the availability of physical devices (Ping test), the operability of TCP services (for example, WWW, FTP server), the availability of pages via HTTP, HTTPS, FTP protocols. It can also control local resources (volume of free disk space, size of directories or files, checksums of files), as well as services, processes, SNMP devices, etc.

When the status of the device changes, the monitor can perform a set of specified actions: issue an audio or visual warning, send an e-mail (for example, to a pager or cellular network administrator), generate an HTML report, run an external program. For different tasks, you can define different schedules (when to monitor), different sets of actions when the status changes. The monitor can log in HTML, DBF and text formats with varying degrees of detail. It has a built-in viewer and log file analyzer.
