AirDroid is an application with which you can use almost all the functions of an Android device from a desktop PC running Windows. If the corresponding Windows client is installed on the computer, then directly from it you will have at your disposal the ability to make voice calls, SMS correspondence, file sharing (video, music, documents, photos, etc.), viewing and editing the address book, importing and exporting apk files, viewing through the gadget's camera, sending sound notification to your device and much more.

As for file transfer (as well as any other data) between a PC and Android, there will be no need for additional wires, cables or any complicated actions: the devices are connected in a wireless network through which information is exchanged at high speed.

To use the service, the application needs to go through a simple registration on a stationary PC - specify a nickname, email address and password. In order for the computer and mobile device to work together, you need to enter the same data on Android. It is convenient that several gadgets can be linked to one computer at once.

In general, the program is a very convenient tool that allows you to work with your Android device without being distracted from current affairs at the PC.

Note. To fully control the Android gadget, Root rights must be installed on it: for a non-connected device, you can see notifications, adjust the sound, transfer files, activate search mode, but you will not be able to answer calls and SMS, display the device screen on the computer and perform some other actions.
