Alteros 3D is a universal file viewer with a customizable interface. The program allows you to view any 3D files (3DS, MAX, VRML, TrueSpace, LightWave and many other formats), as well as 2D graphic files (PSD, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF and others). The built-in text editor allows you to view and edit TXT and RTF files.
Alteros 3D can also show HTML files and other documents via the OLE interface (requires Internet Explorer installed). The program interface is easily configurable using skins. In addition, Alteros 3D has its own ADESK desktop file format. Using ADESK files, you can create graphical interfaces with commands to launch programs, display files and directories. ADESK files can be used as a startup interface Alteros 3D, as well as as a custom CDROM interface if Alteros 3D is used as an Autorun shell for CD.
Alteros 3D allows you to open any number of documents at the same time. To switch between documents, a convenient document manager is used, made in the style of Windows Taskbar.
