APFill Ink Toner Coverage Meter - the program will allow you to find out the filling of the page with ink or toner and the average color on the sheet (CMYK, RGB, LAB, HSB, GrayScale) before printing on the printer. Thus, you will be able to estimate the cost of the print or determine the gradation of prices for customers, depending on the filling of the layout.

The program is designed mainly for mini printers and allows you to offer different prices for customers, depending on the toner consumption for printing the layout and not printing below cost.

You will find out what the mysterious phrase in the printer's instructions means that it can print 2000 sheets at one filling when the sheet is filled by 14%, etc. Or a situation when you come to a company to have something printed for you (booklets, business cards) and they tell you that your sheet is filled by more than 20%, and not measuring it, but evaluating it by eye. Or if you are on the other hand, you print to the client and in order to keep him at home you are ready to go for a discount, but where is the border when you will print above the cost price.

The program can calculate the filling of the sheet when printing with an accuracy of up to 1% and outputs the results separately for grayscale and color gradation filling for each gradation in increments of 10%.

The program APFill allows you to perform the following actions:

• Measuring the color filling of the selected area of the screen (this may be an image of a sheet when previewing in a graphic editor, etc.)
• Output of results in CMYK, RGB, HSB, LAB, grayscale (for b/w printer, for example)
• Measuring the color filling of each page from a PostScript format file (*.ps), to perform this function, you need to install the Ghostscript package
• Measuring the perimeter of an arbitrary area on the screen (for example, the perimeter of letters for those who are engaged in outdoor advertising to know the amount of material needed for manufacture of signage).
• Measuring the area of the selected area of the screen (the auto - area function is possible when the area of the screen filled with a certain color is measured)
• Area and perimeter measurement results are displayed both in screen pixels and in user units of measurement, which can be configured via the menu item Measurement Settings
• Magnification of the screen area (similar to the built-in magnifier in Windows).
