Apkshellext2 is an extension for Windows Explorer that detects mobile application files and replaces the standard APK, IPA and APPX application icons (unknown file) with application icons (from the inside).

The utility displays application files for Android, iOS and Windows Phone in Windows Explorer not as faceless files, but in the form of icons of these very applications.

It also adds the APK Shell Extension item to the Explorer context menu (this item appears when you right-click on any of the APK files), in which you can:

• get access to extension tools,
• automatically rename files in single and batch modes according to their names and version number,
• go to the application page in the Play Store and Amazon.

To install Apkshellext2, you need to unpack the folder with the extension and run the install.bat file with administrator rights.

To remove the extension, you need to run the uninstall file with administrator rights.bat, then run the restart_explorer.bat file.
