Associator is a good replacement for the built-in Windows tool for Mapping file types and protocols to specific programs, with which you can quickly and easily associate file types (by extension) with programs.

Key features of the Associator:

• High download speed.
• The ability to enter only the necessary file type extensions.
• The ability to associate the entire entered list of types with one program in one click.
• The presence of editable templates (ready-made lists of extensions, for example, types related to music, video, text, etc.). Templates are stored in presets.ini in the program folder.
• Drag & Drop support. You can drag and drop into the program the file types you want to associate, the program you want to associate with, the icon you want to assign to the associated file types.
• The ability to enter file type extensions manually or drag files into the program window.
• When dragging an already associated file into the address field of the association program, the address of the program with which this file is already associated will appear in this field.
• The ability to assign any icon for associated file types.
