ASUS Video Security - This program is designed to solve the simplest tasks of video surveillance and security. When connected to the analog input of a video camera board (or at least a web camera), the program analyzes the image and if it detects movement in the protected area, it performs a predetermined action. They can be:

• Sound notification in the form of a siren sound,
• Digitizing the image in b/w version and recording to an AVI file, or as *.bmp sequence,
• Sending a message to an e-mail,
• Dialing a phone number,
• Launching any specified program.

The program can be started automatically or according to a schedule when the operating system is loaded. The image is analyzed only in the b/w version, which is usually quite enough for security purposes. Of the special advantages of the program, it should be noted that it is possible to specify the security zone. This may not be the entire screen, but any rectangular area selected with the mouse.
