Avira Free Android Security is a free virus protection tool that also offers the user a set of functions that allow remote device locking, locating a lost or stolen phone and blocking unwanted calls and SMS messages from any numbers.

To start using Avira Free Android Security, the user needs to install the program itself on his device, and then register a personal account for remote management and tracking of the mobile device (it is possible to manage up to 5 devices) and its status.

There is both automatic scanning of applications installed on the device and on-demand verification.
