AviSub is a program for adding subtitles to AVI files. Up to three different subtitles (SRT, SUB, TXT (microdvd) or Vobsubs) can be added to one AVI file. Converts a regular AVI file to DIVX with subtitles using the latest technologies of the DIVX 6 codec. After processing, you will be able to watch a movie with subtitles on any DVD player if it supports the DIVX 6 codec. The whole operation will take about five minutes.
Usage:
- Download the DIVX codec and player.
- Open AviSub.
- Download .AVI.
- Download .SRT. The program will check the width of each line to fit it to the width of the movie.
- If an error occurs, edit the subtitles to reduce the width of the specified line, or select a smaller font.
- If SRT loaded correctly, click on Generate Subbed Avi.
