BDtoAVCHD is a free and easy-to-use program that allows you to quickly create AVCHD discs from Blu-Ray or HD MKV files, receiving data ready to be recorded on DVD5 or DVD9 at the output. The application compresses video without loss of image quality, and the user can independently set the desired data size (4.7 GB (DVD5), 8.5 GB (DVD9), USB 4 GB, BD-25, etc.).
The application automatically calculates the video bitrate, can convert audio tracks (PCM to AC3, DTS-HD MA to DTS, DTS to AC3, etc.), allows you to select subtitles, program transitions, and much more. It should also be noted that the program does not require the installation of codecs (AviSynth, FFDShow or Haali Media Splitter).
