Ctyptowall is a form of ransomware Trojan that uses encryption and extortion methods. Local files (databases, backup files, documents and spreadsheets) are encrypted using a randomly generated 2048-bit RSA key pair that are associated with an infected computer. While the public key is copied to the infected computer, the private key can only be provided if you pay in the allotted time.
