Blues Media Player is an excellent, multifunctional multimedia application that plays almost anything. The list of supported formats is extensive: there are currently over 200 audio and video file formats supported, and you don't need to install any codecs because Blues Media Player relies on LAVFilters and FFmpeg library to play video and audio.

Along with the basic functions of video viewing and audio playback, Blues Media Player comes with some additional tools, including audio and video conversion, ASIO, WASAPI, Cue Sheet Maker, tagging capabilities, DirectX Video Acceleration, playlist and tag editing and much more.

Subtitles, Winamp Plugins, the ability to take screenshots of anything during playback and keyboard control are also supported. Includes support for DSP effects, 18-band equalizer, playback statistics, customizable user interface layout, internet radio, alarm/auto-off and skins.

To launch Blues Media Player as a portable application, select a Portable installation during the installation process. No changes will be made to the Windows registry or the Start menu. All programs, skins, folders and settings files will remain in the selected program folder.
