Program Calculation of heat losses through a flat multilayer wall calculates heat losses under the condition of natural cooling of the outer wall. The calculation takes into account the dependence of the thermal conductivity of the material layers on temperature (the coefficients of the polynomial are stored in the database).
The materials in the database are divided into categories. The result of the calculation is the amount of heat loss in Watts, the heat flux density (W/m2) and temperatures at the boundaries of the layers. It can be used in the design of metallurgical furnaces to select the most rational design of a refractory wall or when studying the discipline of Thermophysics.
Opportunities:
- determination of the temperature field in the wall and its graphical representation,
- storage of source data sets in files,
- loading data on the thermal conductivity of refractory and thermal insulation materials from the database (MS Access),
- generation of reports in formats txt, doc, xls, pdf with preview, printing them,
- selection of parameters included in the report (source data, results, temperature graph),
- comparison of calculation results for different data sets (charts, tables),
- approximation of thermal conductivity tables with data entry in the database.
