CamToPlan is an easy-to-use virtual ruler and tape measure with which you can easily measure any objects horizontally and vertically thanks to augmented reality and ARCore from Google. Machine learning algorithms combine device sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope...) with odometry, analyzing video from the camera in real time and using image details to scan the environment and determine the position and angle of rotation of the device.

Using the application is very simple - draw measuring lines in 3D directly on the video from the camera of your phone or tablet, and then save your drawings in PNG or DXF.

Advantages of the CamToPlan application:

• Measurements are possible in metric (meters, centimeters) or imperial units (feet, inches).
• The app measures the distance horizontally and vertically.
• The application detects the intersection between the floor and the target, even if it is hidden (for example, furniture or carpets).
• Some types of tiles may affect the measurement accuracy.
• During measurements, you can move the device to get closer to the target point for maximum measurement accuracy, even if it is not visible and is calculated by extrapolation.
