CDS Reader 1.0

The program CDS Reader allows you to open and view the contents of a table saved in CDS format, add new entries, edit or delete existing ones, and clear the entire table. All changes made to the table are automatically saved to the file, so when changing or deleting records, be careful, and better take care of having a backup copy. The program does not allow you to change the structure of the table (add or remove fields, change their type and size). If you need to change the structure of the CDS table, look for the appropriate software.

The CDS format is a format for storing tabular data, sometimes used in programs developed using the Borland ClientDataSet component. Despite some advantages of this format, it has not received wide distribution. As a result, there are very few programs that allow you to open, view and edit arbitrary CDS tables.

The CDS Reader program was developed as a simple and convenient tool for viewing and editing CDS format tables. Due to the lack of similar software, CDS Reader has established itself as the main tool for editing the contents of cds files.
