Check and repair DBF - the program is designed to diagnose and repair damaged DBF files of the xBase programming language family (FlagShip, FoxBase,FoxPro, Clipper, dBaseIII+, dBaseEV, dBaseV, Visual FoxPro).

Main features of the program:

• Detailed analysis and diagnostics of the header structure and the DB file.
• Advanced settings for diagnostics and data recovery: by data type, by error type and by data correction type.
• Checking the data according to the selected settings.
• Automatic recovery of corrupted data according to the selected settings.
• When restoring, the following options are possible:

  • Formatting logical fields

  • Removing the index presence indicator
  • Restoring the DBF file structure
    
  • Converting Visual FoxPro DBF to regular DBF

This program generates a detailed work protocol after work, which contains a list of entries with errors, specific fields in which errors were found and a hexadecimal view of these fields indicating the location of the error. It is possible to configure for automatic saving of the work protocol.
Demo examples of DBF files with characteristic damages are included in the delivery, to facilitate the verification of the program's operability.

The demo version of the program differs from the full version only in that in the verification mode only the first 50 records are checked and only the first 5 records are restored. But there are no restrictions on the number of entries and functionality for the Demo DBF files provided.
