Chrome Cleanup is a free tool from Google to clean your computer from suspicious programs. The utility scans the system and removes suspicious applications that have problems with the Google Chrome browser, restoring its operation in case of problems. In addition, it can be used to reset the browser settings to default values.
If there are any oddities in Chrome (it may be browser crashes, an unusual start page or unfamiliar toolbars, as well as intrusive advertisements that cannot be removed), you may see a notification offering to use this particular utility. The application will check your computer for the presence of programs that Google considers suspicious or known to cause problems with Chrome, and will offer to remove them if found.
