Cutting - The cutting program allows you to build a map of optimized cutting of industrial materials, for example, chipboard (in the manufacture of furniture), glass or any other sheet or roll materials.
Program Features:
- The concept of an order is introduced as a set of rectangular parts defined by their vertical (height) and horizontal (width) dimensions.
- The program maintains a database of past orders with the possibility of subsequent modification of an existing order or its re-calculation.
- For each part, an arbitrary symbolic name, quantity, and the presence of an edge can be set (in the manufacture of furniture panels).
- The program allows, in addition to standard sheets, to enter into the order a certain set of so-called additional sheets, which are printed along with the main ones.
- With a sufficiently large-scale production, taking into account the possibility of subsequent use of waste, it is possible to specify a business waste for the material, that is, the amount of waste that can be considered business and not taken into account when calculating the volume of material to order.
- In the manufacture of parts, some technological waste is possible, associated, for example, material consumption for sawing, edge grinding. The program allows you to enter and automatically take into account such a waste when calculating the cutting card.
- For a more economical cutting, it is possible to combine orders made of the same material during the calculation, thereby reducing waste.
- The ability to work with two types of edges.
- When cutting, the principle of guillotine cuts is used, that is, from edge to edge. All cuts are vertical or horizontal only.
- When calculating the cutting map, there are two algorithms for determining the maximum cut, conventionally called Minimizing total waste and Maximizing continuous cropping. In the first case, the cutting with the highest material utilization factor is considered the best. In the second, plus the minimization of waste, the condition for choosing the largest business crop is added.
- In the case of cutting the rolled material, the program itself will determine the best way to place the part on the tape, cutting it into rectangular blanks of unknown height in advance.
- There is a database of materials with the ability to customize a standard sheet for each material. When selecting a material, the parameters of the standard sheet are automatically substituted.
- It is possible to use the program in network mode.
