Dangerous Goods Handbook 1.0

The Dangerous Goods Handbook is an electronic reference book, the database of which contains information on several thousand chemicals and products: basic properties, explosion and fire hazard, danger to humans, personal protective equipment, necessary actions, neutralization, first aid. The search is carried out by the name of the substance or product, UN number, emergency card number. The search uses spelling correction and takes into account the presence of synonyms. The Dangerous Goods Handbook contains:

• Information on the painting and marking of cylinders and railway tanks.
• Decoding of hazard signs, plates and information cards accompanying the transported cargo.
• Decoding of emergency measures codes (CAM) and hazard codes.

When drawing up, emergency cards for dangerous goods transported by railways of the CIS and the Baltic states (as amended and supplemented on 21.11.08 and 22.05.09), rules for the transportation of liquid cargo in bulk in tank wagons and bunker-type wagons for the transportation of petroleum bitumen (protocol of 22.05.09), rules for the device and safe operation were taken into account pressure vessels.
