dbfHeaderEdit is a small program for viewing and changing the headers of DBF format files. All the necessary information is presented in an easy-to-understand and edit form. It does not require installation and configuration. It can be launched from any media.
Allows you to change the following DBF table header fields:
- table type (indicates in which application the edited file was created or can be used),
- date of last modification (this is the internal header field, not the system date of file modification),
- record count counter,
- index of the position of the first record,
- length of one record,
- code page (character encoding used),
- presence of indexes and memo fields,
- belonging to the database and its name,
Features of dbfHeaderEdit:

- It can be started by specifying the name of the table to be opened as a command-line parameter.
