Deluge is a full-featured cross-platform BitTorrent client released under the GNU GPLv3+ license, and in accordance with freedesktop standards, allowing it to work in many environments. Actively uses the libtorrent library.
The client contains common features for BitTorrent clients, such as protocol encryption, DHT, local peer-to-peer discovery (LSD), peer-to-peer exchange (PEX), UPnP, NAT-PMP, proxy support, streaming speed limitation.
The program can be run as a regular standalone desktop application, or as a client server. In Thin client mode, the application can work with user interfaces remotely connected from any other platform. There are three main user interfaces (UI):
- GTK desktop user interface.
- Web interface for the browser.
- Console command-line interface.
A rich collection of plugins is available, thanks to which you can significantly expand the functionality of the application.
