DivFix - this program is able to view partially downloaded .avi videos. Files of various video formats, like .mpeg or .wmv are viewed without any problems, even if they were not downloaded entirely. However, .avi files can be viewed only if it is fully downloaded, since there is an index table at the end of the file, without which it cannot be opened. The program DivFix restores this table and thereby makes it possible to view under-downloaded or simply damaged avi files.

This function will be especially useful in cases when the required video will have to be downloaded in portions. Just select the file of the already downloaded piece in DivFix and click on the Rebuild Index button - and that's it, the fragment can be viewed. If you decide to continue downloading, select the Strip Index button. Check Errors starts the process of checking the received AVI fragments directly. Optionally, you can set the mode of saving the file being checked, as well as automatically deleting damaged areas and creating a log of detected errors.
