DocPad is a cool functional text editor with a fairly diverse set of options and additional tools. Here you can use bookmarks, change the text encoding, convert the case of characters, work with macros is supported, there is a spelling check section, a text search and replace function is built in, it is possible to remove spaces at the end of a line, automatic indentation, etc.

For convenience, a calculator and calendar are built right into the editor, and full statistical information about the number of characters, lines and paragraphs in the text is also available. You may also need the text-to-speech option, but for this you will need a system speech synthesizer.

The appearance of the program is fully customizable by using one of the many covers (skins), which makes using the application even more pleasant and comfortable.
