ElectricaNW is a program for computer-aided design of power supply of power electrical equipment and internal electric lighting of industrial and civil construction facilities, as well as for the analysis of the current electrical network.

The construction of the electrical network begins with the main switchgear to which the power supply is connected. The main switchgear may have one or two inputs. A complete switchgear can be formed from a group of panels. Electric receivers are divided into two types - lighting equipment and technological equipment. Technological equipment is set by the technologist and, according to the type of load, they are divided into equipment consisting of an asynchronous motor, a thermal load and a complex load. All equipment is grouped by characteristic homogeneous categories of electrical receivers. When calculating electrical loads according to the SP31-110-2003 method, the demand coefficient is set automatically from the built-in database tables, when calculating according to the RTM 36.18.32.4-92 method, the utilization coefficient and the group power factor (Cos) are set according to reference data. All output documentation is automatically created using Microsoft Office Word.
