EVA Risk Analysis is a set of risk analysis utilities in the Microsoft Excel environment that are able to automatically perform an economic analysis of the selected file. Such a program can be very useful for undergraduates and graduate students in the study of probability theory and economic analysis.
Complex EVA Risk Analysis consists of several add-ons for Microsoft Excel:
- Sensitivity analysis (ranking of risks, construction of tornado diagrams),
- Scenario approach (expert analysis based on scenarios, calculation of VaR - value at risk),
- Monte Carlo method (distribution of the final value depending on the laws of distribution of input parameters, confidence interval analysis, possibility of setting correlation coefficients),
- Selection of the distribution (search for the most appropriate distribution law based on a set of actual data).
Application developers have tried to automate the work with the program as much as possible so that the user does not spend a lot of time entering parameters and can easily analyze any Excel file. So, an automatic search for input data that affects a given final cell is implemented. It is convenient that EVA Risk Analysis does not make changes to user data, and the calculation results are presented in Excel formats available for subsequent configuration and editing.
