FAR Manager is a file and archive management program in Windows. The program works in text mode and allows you to simply and visually perform most of the necessary actions: view files and directories, edit, copy and rename files, and much more.
The application has a multilingual, easily customizable interface. Simple file system navigation is provided by color highlighting and file sorting groups.
The functionality of FAR Manager is significantly expanded due to external plug-in DLL modules. For example, working with archives, FTP client, temporary panel and network browsing are implemented using plug-ins included in the standard delivery of the manager.
The program is free for users of the former USSR.
