File Shredder is a simple portable utility for permanently erasing files from your computer. Even if you delete a file from the Trash, there is a chance that it will be restored by specialized software. This program will help hide traces of user activity on the computer by repeatedly overwriting information and then deleting files. As a result, the ability to reanimate data is almost zero.

Working with the program is easy enough. You need to add files to the list to be destroyed, specify the deletion method (overwriting with random data or empty data), the number of erasure passes (from 1 to 100) and click Destroy files from the list. That's actually all: after a while, depending on the number of files and the specified passes, all data will be permanently deleted. Now you can safely sell your computer or give a hard drive for use without worrying that confidential or private information will be used by unauthorized persons.
