Folx 5.2 for Mac

Folx is a free download manager for Mac OS X. It allows you to download files at high speed in several streams at once, automatically restore an interrupted download, control the download speed and much more. Moreover, Folx is also a convenient free torrent client for downloading and creating torrent files.

Folx Download Manager uses a convenient system for adding tags to downloaded files. You can assign multiple tags to one file and Folx will place a shortcut to this file in several folders at once according to the specified tags. Now, in order to find a once downloaded file, you do not have to remember its name and search through all the folders on your computer. Simply select one of the tags that you could mark it with, and Folx will immediately show it.

Folx is presented in two versions - a free version with a set of functions for downloading regular files and torrent files and a paid version with advanced functionality.

The Folx PRO version allows you to set the download of files according to a schedule, adjust the download speed automatically for the most efficient distribution of traffic over a dedicated Internet channel, split the download into 2 streams or more to significantly increase the download speed. The Folx torrent client in the PRO version provides an additional opportunity to search for torrent files directly from the application. You will not need to search for the file you are interested in on each torrent tracker separately - just enter the query you are interested in in Folx and it will find the corresponding torrents by itself.
