FontForge is a program for creating, editing and converting fonts that supports a variety of formats, including TrueType (TTF), TrueType Collection (TTC), OpenType (OTF), PostScript Type 1, TeX Bitmap Fonts, X11 OTB bitmap (only sfnt), Glyph Bitmap Distribution Format (BDF), FON (Windows), FNT (Windows), Web Open Font Format (WOFF) and others. It is possible to import and export from Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) and Unified Font Object (UFO) formats.

There is an opportunity to change the letters at will. There are many tools available in the editor for drawing, transforming, rounding, adding serifs, as well as copying individual elements or letter parameters (height, width, and so on). It also supports working with layers.

After launching the program, you need to specify the folder where the fonts are installed (you can enable a filter to search for the font of the desired type).
