FVords is a program for fidgets learning English (and a little German). Why for fidgets? Because it fascinates even them with its diversity. There is an authoritative Longman with 2700 tips on how to combine English words into English sentences. There are parallel texts of English-German-Russian, from serious (Hamlet, The Old Man and the See) to children's (Harry Potter, Alice's Adventures).
There are subscript dictionaries to the texts and, in some places, comments. There is a drop of humor and a drop of drill (English Irregular Verbs). Thanks to the openness of the database, FV is not only a tutorial, but also a tool: you can conduct your own topics of arbitrary content. That's how 9 parallel rtf books, 5 German and 24 English topics (tournament, course, book, school) appeared in FV together.
English tasks and texts can be voiced, there are prompter and podkid modes for this. It is possible to connect mp3, bmp, etc. illustrative material to book themes. The British - believe it or not - even adapted FVords to study Russian: they, you see, find it very good for learning Russian. Join us!

Databases for FVords need to be downloaded separately from the developers' website (the databases are constantly replenished).
