Greenshot is a small and easy-to-use screenshot utility with which you can easily take pictures of a given arbitrary area, an active window, the entire screen or a single object.

The program also provides the ability to edit the resulting screenshots, for example, apply text, add arrows and symbols, crop and darken selected areas of the image.

When creating a screenshot, you can choose your preferred actions: open the image in the editor, copy it to the clipboard, send it to the printer or save it to a file. The result of the work can be saved in jpg, gif, png or bmp formats. Keyboard shortcuts are supported.
