HelpCruiser is a program designed to create documents in various formats, such as HTML, CHM, PDF, RTF and XML. This utility is optimized for solving problems that arise in the process of creating help files, descriptions and help systems for a particular software product.
The ability to work flexibly with various formats provides the use of template technology, in which the structure of the document is described through macros, loops and conditions. The templates built into HelpCruiser allow you to immediately create and convert text documents into the most popular and common formats. However, thanks to the extensive template customization options, you can independently customize the format of the exported document in accordance with each specific task.

HelpCruiser has full support for a variety of formats, and with this utility you can easily create and configure such document design parameters as font type, size, color, character set, etc.
It is also possible to process the graphic files used in the document. Settings are subject to such parameters of images in JPEG and PNG formats as the degree of compression, the method of interlacing, transparency color, grayscale and some others.
And additional attractiveness of the document can be given by inserting various objects - tables, interface elements of Windows, OLE, etc.
For each section of the created document, you can also set a set of keywords. According to them, the future software user will be able to quickly find the help section or the help file that interests him. HelpCruiser allows you to use internal links leading to a particular section of the document being created, and external links linking the document to other texts, programs or URLs.
It is worth mentioning separately about ensuring the security of documentation created using HelpCruiser. Any document can be password protected both from modification and from changing the content.
