HippoScan 1.5.6

HippoScan (formerly ScanTool) is a program that will be useful to those users who often make electronic copies of paper documents. You can make an electronic copy of the document (scan) by pressing just a few keys, the program saves the result in pdf or as a set of images. The compression level, scan resolution and color depth are configurable.

Before saving the result, you can do page processing, namely:

• increase brightness,
• increase contrast,
• rotate the selected image by 90/180 degrees,
• rotate all images by 90/180 degrees,
• change the order of pages in the final document (in if they were scanned in the wrong order).

In addition, you can choose two types of saving: silent and with a request. In the first case, the documents are saved to the previously selected directory (selected in the settings) with automatic name generation, in the second, the file name and path will be requested before each save.
