IncrediMail - the main goal in the development of this innovative product was to create an email client that, in addition to great functionality, would also have an intuitive interface unprecedented for programs of this class. In addition, work was carried out on the implementation in IncrediMail of extensive opportunities for users to express their individual inclinations and emotional self-expression using mail.

Main features:

• Support for multiple accounts with SMTP authentication on the mail server,
• Built-in support for audio messages in WAV format. This function is managed by the Voice Message Recorder component, which is similar in principle to PureVoice from the Eudora mail client,
• Interestingly implemented support for signatures at the end of the letter: you can use a special editor (in appearance and drawing principle reminiscent of icon editors) to create your own signature (for example, the one that the user usually puts on paper documents),
• Support for HTML emails. These are HTML blanks (as in Outlook Express), and a collection of animated pictures that can be inserted into emails along with funny sounds. All this is designed to help people convey their emotional state. From the developer's website, you can download a lot of additional gadgets of this kind,
• The function of automatic preview of the sent multimedia files. Naturally, the usefulness of this feature (in our turbulent time from the point of view of viruses) causes a lot of justifiable doubts,
• The ability to capture GIF animations from the Web for later use in your emails,
• Support for spell checking with the help of The Bat software already known to us! Sentry Spelling-Checker Engine (SSCE) systems,
• Ability to work in the background. The program itself polls the server at certain intervals and downloads the newly arrived mail without user intervention. The function is performed in the spirit of the whole program: when the program detects that a new mail has arrived, funny animated creatures (so-called notifiers) appear on the screen, like Mr. Paperclip from Microsoft Word. The standard delivery is a doggie, a staid servant (apparently an Englishman by pronunciation) and a mailbox with a pleasant female voice,
• Simple, but in general, a good incoming mail filtering system,
• A wonderful selection of 3D effects when activating email messages. Additional effects as well as all other gadgets (sounds, animations, etc.) can be downloaded from free libraries on the developers' website,
• The ability to import mailboxes from the following programs: Eudora 4.3, Outlook Express 5.0, Netscape Communicator 4.7, as well as from Windows Address Book (WAB).
