InqSoft Neo Sign 0f Misery is an automation tool based on the use of scripts (scripts) describing the sequence of actions that need to be performed to solve a particular task. This product was developed as a replacement for Sign 0f Misery, a previous project of a similar purpose, which had some significant limitations, the need to overcome which was the reason for the appearance of this project.
The program allows you to solve everyday tasks of an ordinary user: launching certain programs under certain conditions, opening documents, automatically calling certain menu items of the program, managing the status and location of windows on the screen. In addition, the program allows you to perform fairly complex operations to track and emulate keystrokes, simulate mouse operation, manage program priorities, modify file contents, edit program code directly in memory and perform other similar operations.
Much attention is paid to the possibilities of unlocking inactive control elements: buttons, switches, menu items, etc., as well as the forced activation of blocked functions in programs.
Neo Sign 0f Misery is a fully modular product, the main modules of which are:
- The kernel in the form of a DLL and an executable file image that ensures the operation of the bytecode interpreter
- A compiler that allows you to convert text files with scripts into bytecode or executable file
- A shell that links together a syntax-highlighting script editor and a compiler, and also allows you to test run compiled scripts
- Documentation on the syntax of the Neo Sign 0f Misery scripting language and the purpose of commands available for use in scripts
