KChess Elite is a program for playing chess. For convenience, you can customize almost everything: color, size and shape of the pieces, size, coloring and texture of the chessboard (without texture, granite, marble, wood), interface language, control panel and fonts. Pop-up hints make management as easy as possible and do not let you get confused in a variety of options. Difficulty level: thinking time, depth of position calculation, limitations for the computer - everything can be optimally configured for a player with any level of training. The program will be especially useful for beginner and intermediate chess players.

Playing chess, you can cancel, repeat, analyze any move in the game, and also, at the time of difficulty, receive a hint from the computer. KChess allows you to record, save and view batches in all common formats (PGN, FEN, EPD). Along with the program there is a set of interesting and revealing games (for example, G.Kasparov's match against the Deep Blue computer), as well as an encyclopedia of chess openings (ECO - the Encyclopedia of Chess Openings), with which you can identify the beginning of any chess game, as well as choose the best option to continue.

You can play against the computer, against another person and, in the end, watch the computer play with itself. KChess is able to analyze a position with a given arrangement of pieces, which sometimes helps a lot when solving complex chess problems and sketches.
