Key Remapper is a program for redefining keyboard keys, buttons, and mouse wheel scrolling.

Allows:

• Redefine keyboard keys, mouse button presses, and mouse wheel scrolling with new values with the ability to set keys and mouse buttons that are not present on the keyboard.
• To reverse the replacement of keys and mouse buttons, i.e. virtually change their functional purpose. For example, you can virtually swap the right Shift and Enter, the middle mouse button and the left Shift.
• Replace certain keys or mouse buttons with combinations of keys or mouse buttons with modifiers. For example, you can set the Alt+Shift+Esc combination to press a key on the Browser Forward multimedia keyboard (quick program switching), set the Ctrl+C combination to the X1 mouse button (copy), set the Ctrl+C combination to the right AltLeft mouse button.
• Emulate double-click of mouse buttons or double-click of keyboard keys with the ability to set a delay between clicks (double-click with a delay).
• Block (disable) keyboard keys, mouse buttons, mouse wheel scrolling and their combinations with modifier keys.
• Restrict the effect of overrides and locks to certain programs and windows. For example, you can determine that the replacement of the mouse key X1 with the Space bar is carried out only in program A and nowhere else. Or, so that the NumLock key is replaced with the Ctrl+C+C combination (double-pressing C) everywhere except for the program whose window title has the word B.
• Create and quickly (in two mouse clicks) switch profiles of key sets.

At the same time, the program does not make any changes to the scan codes in the system registry and does not require a restart of the computer for the key replacements to take effect.

With the help of Key Remapper, it is possible to override almost any keys.
