KidoKiller is a free utility for removing the Net-Worm.Win32.Kido network worm from an infected computer. The worm exploits a critical vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (MS08-067) to spread through local networks and removable media.
Net-Worm.Win32.Kido (other names: Conficker, Downadup) disables the System Restore function, blocks access to most sites of antivirus companies (for example, esetnod32.ru , kaspersky.ru etc.), downloads additional malware to infected computers, and also does not allow you to activate the Kaspersky Lab product (the user will receive an error message).
