Kill-Update is a small free utility that allows you to manually disable or enable Windows 10 updates. The program does not require installation and works from the system tray, displaying its current state.
The program provides an opportunity to permanently block the receipt of Windows updates by stopping all services related to OS updates, which completely blocks the search and installation of updates, even through third-party applications.
The program checks the status of Windows update-related services every 10 seconds and disables them. There is an option to temporarily allow short-term activation of signature updates for Windows Defender. There is also an option to automatically launch the utility when Windows OS starts or the user logs in.
