Lks MapEdit 1.05

Lks MapEdit is a map editor for creating multi-layered vector topographic maps using satellite images or scanned paper maps as a basis for drawing. The created maps can be used for GPS navigation, monitoring, and performing calculation tasks.

Features of Lks MapEdit:

• Creating your own icons, drawing styles of lines, filling polygons.
• Editing cartographic information stored as layers. Each layer can contain a certain type of information (landscape, buildings, roads, etc.). Layers are superimposed on each other, and each layer can be displayed or extinguished.
• Editing information on urban communications (water supply, heating mains, electric lines). Communications are stored on special layers that can be superimposed on each other and on layers of cartographic information.
• Automatic construction of the topology of communication networks, including taking into account the interconnections of layers.
• Linking communication layers with map layers, while map objects can automatically change their appearance when the state of the communication model nodes associated with them changes.
• Creating graphical objects for communication layers that have a number of inputs and outputs, the relationship between which is determined by the object state table. Each state can be displayed with an arbitrary graphical symbol. The character set can be edited.
• Creating lines (including polylines) that have an arbitrary drawing style (railway, power line, highway, river, etc.). Such lines are constructed from repeating sections created by the user.
• Using satellite images posted on the Google website as a substrate for drawing a map. If there is an Internet connection, the desired background fragment is automatically loaded and brought to the desired scale.
• Printing at scale on the printer of created maps with printed communication networks.
