LockHunter is a free program for deleting files that, for reasons you don't understand, are blocked by some other applications.

There are situations when the system issues a message that the file cannot be deleted because it is used by another application. This happens for various reasons, including it may be the result of the action of some malware or other malicious application. In such situations, LockHunter will come to the rescue. It allows you to unlock files in use with the subsequent possibility of deleting, copying or renaming.

For convenience, LockHunter integrates into the context menu of Windows Explorer.

Main features:

• Shows the process blocking access to a file or folder
• Allows you to unlock, delete, copy or rename a locked file
• Allows you to kill the blocking process
• Allows you to remove the blocking process from the hard disk
• Deleted files are placed in the Trash (i.e., if necessary, they can be quickly restored).
