Mark Dvoretsky Chess is a program for generating a starting position for Mark Dvoretsky chess.
Modern chess is overloaded with opening theory so much that about 90% of the grandmaster's training is work on the opening and only 10% is direct work at the board. How to make memorizing openings become a waste of time, and the chess player played with his mind, and not with an analysis developed at home? The solution was proposed by Mark Dvoretsky: the usual starting position is taken, white and black are drawn by lot in the course of a pawn forward one square (and the moves are not necessarily symmetrical), and then the game begins. A total of 64 variants of the starting position are obtained.
The program can generate 4 different pawn options: one pawn with and without vertical F, and two pawns with and without vertical F.
