Memory Pictures is an application that will keep your memories alive by helping you embed geolocation points and your comments in the photo title. JPEG, PNG, Canon RAW (CR2 and CR3), DNG, FujiFilm RAW, Nikon RAW, Olympus RAW, Panasonic RAW and Pentax RAW formats are supported.

Every time you take a picture with a digital camera, all settings, such as shutter speed, focal length, etc., are saved in the EXIF metadata stored on the photo. Smartphones, as well as some digital cameras, are equipped with a built-in GPS, which adds the GPS coordinates of your location to each photo taken. However, bad weather and a number of other factors can make GPS coordinates inaccurate. In addition, GPS coordinates determine your location, not the location of the subject.

The task of Memory Pictures is to allow you to accurately add or change GPS coordinates. To do this, OpenStreet Maps are used to create a visual map and an address query function. Thanks to this, it is quite easy to find a location and link it to one or several photos at once.

Comment is another useful component of EXIF metadata, but it is not very widely used. Instead of creating a diary application or recording your thoughts in a separate place, Memory Pictures now allows you to store them directly inside photos that can be viewed from any website or application that supports this feature, including Memory Pictures.
