MMC-Reader is a program for diagnosing Mitsubishi cars using the K-Line data bus. It is used to check the connection with the car via MMC K-Line + SCI, or any K-Line adapter, provided that the connection start is manually activated via 1 pin of the diagnostic connector.
The principle of operation of the MMC-Reader diagnostic scanner is based on the recognition of the control unit identifier, according to which a set of parameters and tests relevant to this code is selected, which distinguishes it from similar programs of the lower price range.
Connection to the car is possible through the following types of adapters:
- MMC SCI K-Line
- J2534 (Openport 2.0)
- Third-party K-Line adapter
