Simulation of gas dynamics of a blast furnace - the program is designed to simulate the processes of gas movement in a blast furnace. The initial data of the program are the geometric parameters of the furnace profile and the location of the tuyeres, the thermophysical characteristics of the blast, the temperature of the tuyere hearth and the grate, the consumption of charge materials and the shape parameters of their pieces.
The application uses a two-dimensional axisymmetric mathematical model with an uneven grid, where coordinates are calculated along the height and radius of the furnace. The initial fields are calculated in an isothermal approximation, then the program performs an iterative calculation taking into account the temperature field.
The result of the program is the fields of velocity (vertical and horizontal components) and pressure in the working space of the furnace. The results are presented in the form of a table and a graphic representation of the current lines. It is possible to export the results to CSV and JPEG formats.
