Mumble is a fairly convenient and advanced solution for organizing voice communication on the network using VoIP technology. The main application of this program is group communication in online games between members of the same team. However, in a broader sense, Mumble can be used for any type of communication in one server cell - at work, with friends, hold conferences, etc.
The program has quite flexible and fine-tuned sound parameters, which makes it possible to obtain high-quality audio sound: noise is removed, sound clarity is improved, extraneous inclusions are suppressed, etc.
A special sound positioning technology stands out separately, when the sound of other users' voices becomes dependent on their location in the game, allowing you to determine the current situation on the game map by ear. It is this feature that has made Mumble extremely popular in the gaming environment.
The Mumble interface is conveniently designed, where you can literally mute yourself (turn off the microphone) and mute yourself (turn off the voices of other users) in just one click. In addition to voice communication, there is also a text format for information exchange, while the Text-to-Speech function will allow other participants to hear everything you have written - very convenient and effective.
To set up communication in the group, you will need both the server and client parts (included in the Mumble installer). One of the users creates a server to which the others connect using the client. All messages between the server and the client are encrypted with a 256-bit key, so the security of personal data is provided at a fairly high level.
In the end, I would like to note that after installing Mumble, open free servers from all over the world will become available to you for communication: connect, communicate, share interesting information, make new friends and expand your horizons.
