Network Printer Control 1.15

Network Printer Control is a small free utility designed to return the old default printer behavior (as in Windows 7), namely: the default printer remains the way the user set it, even if other printers on the network are sometimes used.

In Windows 7 (Devices and Printers - Printers and Faxes - Printer Management by default), the default printer was installed for each network that the user could work with at home, at work, or anywhere else. In Windows 10, Microsoft removed this feature and replaced it with the option to Let Windows manage my default printer, which behaves differently in one important and annoying sense - it switches the default printer that it associates with this network to the last printer used on this network, instead of saving this is the value even if you sometimes use a different printer.

In other words, if you use a particular printer most often on a particular network, you probably want it to be used by default all the time. But in the new Windows 8/10 scheme, if you need to use another printer, the very fact of using another printer changes the default value associated with this network.
