OWL RS 6.5

OWL PC is a software tool for protecting information in an automated system (AS). OWL PC monitors user activity, which includes collecting and analyzing information about the use of functions by users and processes and objects of the controlled system. All data obtained during the observation process is stored in an encrypted Log file. The program runs in the background unnoticed by the user and intercepts the following events:

• launching applications,
• switching between applications/windows.
• Additionally, static text and editable window elements are saved, in particular:
  • the contents of the windows of most chats, such as ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, etc.,
  • the contents of the Internet browser window (Internet Explorer),
  • the contents of emails viewed using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express, etc.,
  • typing on the keyboard,
  • pasting text from the clipboard,
  • working with the file system,
  • working with the system registry,
  • installing/uninstalling applications,
  • installing programs in autorun,
  • visiting internet sites.

Each event has its own timestamp and is recorded in the log, which is converted to HTML format for later convenient viewing by an Internet browser (Internet Explorer version 4.0 and higher is recommended). The registration log can optionally be sent by e-mail to the specified address (or saved over a local network to the specified shared resource) for further viewing and analysis. An important advantage of the program is the ability to save registration logs into a special database and then analyze them by setting search conditions. All program settings are combined into a single Control Center. Changing the settings does not require restarting the computer. Installation and configuration is easy and fast.
