PragmatiChess is a program for playing classical chess and Fischer Random chess (FRC, Fischer Random Chess). Fischer Chess is a variant of chess created by Bobby Fischer (world champion from 1972 to 1975). Fischer chess has 960 different starting positions. Among them there is the starting position of classical chess and 959 other starting positions.

Clear Russian-language interface. You can choose from a realistic three-dimensional board and a two-dimensional board in the style of a chess diagram. Three levels of difficulty when playing with a computer. Animated magician makes the game more animated.

As the brain of the program, you can use any UCI engines, for example, Shredder, Aristarch or Ruffian, enjoying the variety of styles and power of the game.

Games are saved in FEN format. Saved games can simply be dragged onto the board with the mouse and continue the game.

In addition to all this, you can fight the enemy by e-mail.It's very convenient! No need to be constantly connected to the network. Gone on vacation? No problem - you can continue the game you started on another computer. To start the game, it is enough to choose a correspondence player for Black, make a move, specify the opponent's address, and the game began. After receiving a letter from your opponent, you can drag the game.pgn file onto the playing board and make the next move.
